Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a holy adventure to carry God’s vision,
rebuild your life, and grow within a community connected by love.
For six months, you’ll learn God’s character and voice in His presence. You’ll grow deeply rooted in faith through an intimate relationship with Him and be trained both spiritually and practically to live a missional life. DTS is not only about personal growth—it is a journey of responding to God’s call to establish God's kingdom on earth, and together we are given practical and spiritual training for living a missional life. ONEKOREA DTS especially invites those who want to join God’s vision for the unity of the Korean Peninsula, and have a heart of God's pain and compassion for persecuted peoples. Together, let's embrace the heart of God and carry His love and truth into the world.

Program Overview

Six Months Away to Become a Disciple and Fully Focus on God

Step into a life-changing journey. These six months are more than a break—they’re an invitation to become a true disciple of Jesus. Set aside distractions, dive deep into God’s Word, and grow in a community passionate about living out faith. This is your time to be equipped, transformed, and sent out with purpose. Fully focused. Fully surrendered. Fully alive.

The DTS consists of two main phases: the Lecture Phase and the Outreach Phase. Together, we offer a holistic approach to discipleship, combining biblical teaching with practical mission experience.

DTS Phases

1. Lecture Phase: The Beginning of a Journey Toward Transformation

The first 12 weeks of DTS are an intensive training period held in the classroom. During this time, you’ll explore a variety of topics designed to bring deep transformation to your heart, soul, and relationship with God. Each lecture is prayerfully prepared to challenge and encourage you, helping you to place your faith at the center of your life and live boldly with purpose.

  • Encountering God Personally

    Through prayer, worship, and in-depth Bible study, you’ll discover who God is and draw closer to His heart and character. A personal and intimate relationship with Him will begin to grow within you.

  • Learning to Hear God’s Voice

    God still speaks today. You’ll learn how to recognize His voice through biblical principles and real-life examples, gaining confidence in living under His guidance.

  • Discovering Identity and Calling

    This is a time to deeply understand who you are in Christ and the life you were created to live. Through teaching and personal reflection, your calling and purpose within God’s kingdom will become clearer.

  • Seeing the World Through a Biblical Worldview

    You’ll learn to view the world not by worldly standards, but through the lens of God’s Word. You’ll also learn how to apply biblical truth to everyday life and grow in your ability to interpret the world from God’s perspective.

  • Growing in Relationship and Community

    Within a vibrant Christian community that celebrates cultural diversity, you’ll build lasting relationships with fellow students and staff. Your faith and character will grow in community, and experience the beauty of a life walking with God.

2. Outreach Phase: Embracing the nations, serving with love

The outreach is a journey of faith beyond the classroom. This is a time for you to put the truth you’ve learned into practice and to reflect the love of Jesus through your everyday actions. For about 12 weeks, you’ll step into diverse cultures and bring God’s light to the nations. This is not just a trip—it’s a holy adventure, responding to God’s call for the nations.

  • Bringing the Gospel into Different Cultures

    In unfamiliar places, among new languages and customs, you’ll learn to share the gospel in their own heart languages. You’ll carry God’s love through your actions, not just words. You’ll gain the wisdom to share love not just through words, but through the way you live—learning how to connect with each culture in ways that are both meaningful and appropriate.

  • Growing and Walking Together in Leadership

    Outreach is ‘our’ journey, not ‘my’ journey. As you serve alongside your teammates from diverse backgrounds, you’ll grow as a leader with humility, patience, gentleness, and resilience. Ministry will be a place where your faith and character are refined.

  • Impact Small but Deep, Change That Lasts

    Wherever we go, whether cities or remote villages, we go where there is need. We put God's love into action with our hands and feet through evangelism, practical service, partnerships with local churches, and community support. Your service won’t just be temporary—it will leave a lasting impact, bearing fruit that remains in the community.
